Gynecologist and Obstetrician Dr. Ayşe Gül Sofuoğlu completed her primary, secondary, and high school education in Istanbul. She graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1988. Between 1990 and 1992, she worked as an observer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Mary’s Hospital, University of Manchester.
She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Süleymaniye Maternity Hospital in 1998. In order to provide her patients with more accurate psychological support, she successfully completed a three-year Integrative Psychotherapy training program at the Darıca Psychotherapy Institute between 2016 and 2019 under the supervision of the esteemed Dr. Tahir Özakkaş.
From 1998 to 2021, she worked at MedicalPark Fatih Hospital. Since May 2021, she has been seeing her patients at her private practice in Şişli.
